The mission of Delta Omicron Uplift Foundation, Inc. is to empower lives and secure funds for educational, leadership, and charitable purposes within Beaumont and the surrounding communities.
Contributions from annual fundraisers, friends, and the community allow the Foundation to support philanthropic goals to better the lives of the underprivileged in our community.
Educational / Scholarships
We present 3 - 4 yearly Scholarships to College Bound Students. Plus, we sponsor the Linen & Sundress Fundraiser in June and the Memorial Golf Tournament in October.
The National Talent Hunt Program was started by the National Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in 1946 to provide exposure, encouragement and financial assistance to talented young high school students. This year's winners include Hope Msengi (Westbrook) coming in at 1st place, Andre Hankerson (United) as second place, and Danisha Shead (Memorial) as 3rd place
Delta Omicron Uplift, Inc. sponsors the local competition, allowing participants within Beaumont and the surrounding communities to express their talents and win prizes. The winner of the local competition is rewarded an expense-free trip to compete at the regional and national level.
Delta Omicron Uplift, Inc. sponsors several events in the local community. Specifically, we co-sponsor the Shriner's Kid Outing, donate Back to School Supplies, sponsor the Memorial Golf Tournament, and participate in the local Charles R. Drew Blood Drive and Diabetes Expo and Awareness Walk.
We provide resources for members to attend leadership training seminars and enhance interpersonal skills, along with mentoring local students.
